The 13 c 1 h and 1 h nmr spectra of the homopolymer pva were assigned to the configurational pentads ch region and tetrads ch 2 region. 3 nmr 9 ftir and 1 raman. The new raft agents were fully characterized by 1 h and 13 c nmr spectroscopy.
