It s the pitched rake trim meeting the horizontal gutter or trim that s the dilemma. We worked very hard to develop this exclusive design and we think it is one of the most distinct advantages of our buildings. If it were a molding instead of a gutter it would be the same issue i see it on plans all the time and it s really more about architects who don t know all about carpentry than it is about carpenters who can t figure it out. The overall gutter and rake profile of the new northern gutter system is the same as our current standard gutter and rake except that all the trim is detailed from the bottom of the roof panel instead of from the top.
